After searching for bicycle manufacturers in Louisiana, there does not appear to be any major professional large-scale bicycle brands manufacturing complete bikes or frames within the state itself. However, here are a couple of small, custom bike builders that call Louisiana home:
- Vernon Cycles - A one-man shop building handmade steel bikes one at a time in New Orleans. Offers custom road, touring, and city bikes.
- Vince's Custom Cycles - Small custom bike workshop run by one builder out of his home in Carville, Louisiana. Specializes in steel frames.
So while major bicycle production is lacking, there are at least a few craftsmen producing handmade steel bikes on a bespoke basis within Louisiana. The cycling culture in areas like New Orleans helps support these small framebuilders.
