US Manufacturers by New Mexico
Here are a few of the bicycle manufacturers located in the state of New Mexico:
- Wright Bicycle Company - Custom carbon bike builder based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico handmaking racing, gravel, mountain, and fat bikes.
- Zia Velo - Cycling shop, wheelbuilders and small custom bike brand focused on steel frames operating in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 2009.
- Horsethief Custom Cycles - Veteran framebuilder Dave Horsethief crafts steel bikes one order at a time outside of Silver City, New Mexico often featuring beautiful fillet brazing.
- Buffalo Bicycles - Small custom workshop run by one builder out of Taos since 1995 building titanium, steel and even bamboo frames by hand.
While major factory production seems scarce, New Mexico does host some talented custom framebuilders and smaller specialty bike brands as shown above.
